Order fulfillment and 3PL warehousing, from the shop that decorates your merch
Pure Choice Logistics
Your fulfillment operation should not take up your day. We receive your inventory, store it, pick and pack the orders your store sends us, and ship them with tracking. If we are holding the stock, orders in before 1:00 PM local go out the same business day.
Big-3PL capability without becoming an account number
Large fulfillment companies have scale, and at a growing brand's volume that scale usually arrives as a ticket queue. You file a request about how your product is packed and you hear back next quarter, if the change is worth quoting at all.
We are built the other way around. Small enough that you can get one of us on the phone, and running enough volume to have the problems solved already. Across June and July we put more than 6,200 packages out of our own door.
- You deal with the same people every week, and they know what is on your racks.
- Workflows get built around your product instead of your product being forced into ours.
- Fulfillment is quoted per program, so the number you forecast is the number you are billed.
- Receiving is clocked in 15-minute increments, so what you pay for matches what the crew actually did.
- Kitting, inserts, note cards and custom packing are normal work here, not exceptions.
- One vendor for decoration and fulfillment, so there is one inventory count instead of two.
Why this is one company and not two
A merch program usually takes two vendors. One prints the shirts. A separate warehouse stores them and ships them. That leaves somebody on your side moving tracking numbers between the two and keeping two inventory counts lined up.
Pure Choice Logistics is the fulfillment side of the same company that runs Pure Choice Apparel. The screen press, the embroidery machines, the DTF printer and the laser engraver sit in the same operation as the racks and the pick carts. A blank comes in, gets decorated, gets put away, and goes out on a customer order without leaving the building.
We run both sides ourselves: four decoration methods in-house, and a real warehouse with a dock, bin locations and per-order picking. That means one vendor and one inventory count instead of two.
What we handle
- Receive. Your truck books a dock appointment in our portal and sends the ASN ahead of it, so we know what is coming and how it is packed. We unload it, count it against the ASN, and capture lot numbers where they apply.
- Store. Fast movers go into pickable bin locations, the rest to pallet storage. Everything is put away to a known location, so a count is a lookup rather than a hunt.
- Pick. Your store sends orders to us. Each one is picked to a tote that carries the order number, so what is in the tote is what is on the order.
- Pack. Packed to your instructions. Inserts, a note card, a particular way of nesting a bottle that keeps arriving broken, a kitting step. Each one is logged against your account.
- Ship. Orders that reach us before 1:00 PM local go out the same business day when we are holding the stock. We buy the carrier label, and tracking flows back to your store so your customer gets the notification without anyone on your team touching it.
If an order needs decoration first, it gets decorated here and then shipped, on the production clock rather than the shelf clock. Past the five steps, inventory reporting, returns and one-off projects go to the same people you already deal with.
Two ways to run a merch program
Hold decorated stock, and we run what you decide to print and shelve it as finished goods until someone buys it. Cheapest per unit at volume. The trade is that you commit cash before you know what sells.
Decorate on demand, and we hold blanks instead. Nothing prints until an order comes in, so you carry no dead stock and can add a design without funding a run. It costs more per unit, and it only works because DTF starts at a single piece with no setup fee. Most programs do both.
A national creator-led brand runs a branded-merch store plus fulfillment through us, with hundreds of orders decorated and shipped on demand every week and zero inventory carried by the client.
The same-day cutoff follows the stock. Anything we are already holding can go out the same business day the order lands. Anything that has to be printed or embroidered first runs on the production clock.
More than pick, pack and ship
Not every order should be handled the same way. These we already run for other accounts:
- Kitting and bundling, from a two-item bundle to a multi-SKU kit
- Promotional inserts and handwritten note cards
- Custom packaging and specific packing instructions
- Lot tracking, captured on the ASN and again at receiving
- Returns back into sellable inventory, scoped per account
- Multi-SKU picking, product launches and promotional pushes
And if your product needs handling we do not run today, say so early rather than late. Expiry-driven stock rotation, a temperature range, a specific shelving rule, an assembly step, a subscription cadence. We would rather build the process around your account than tell you it is not on the menu, and we will be straight with you about what we are already doing versus what we would be standing up for you.
If you do not sell merch at all
A good share of the brands we ship for have never ordered a single decorated item. They sell supplements, skincare, peptides and other small boxed goods, and they came here for the warehouse rather than the print shop. Nothing on this page about decoration has to apply to you.
This side of the business fits a particular size of brand. Somewhere around 25 to 200 orders a day is where we do our best work. That is past the point where packing them yourself still makes sense, and well under the volume where a large fulfillment center starts paying attention to your account.
Product smaller than a shoe box is the sweet spot. Bottles, jars, tubes, pouches, sachets. If it is shelf stable and fits a bin, pick and pack runs the same way it does for apparel.
What usually moves a brand to us is the handling. We are small enough that you can get one of us on the phone and change how something is packed this week instead of next quarter. Custom inserts, a particular way of nesting a bottle that keeps arriving broken, a kitting step a bigger operation would not quote at your volume. Those are worth asking about, and the answer is more often yes than no.
Getting your inventory to our dock
You pick a dock slot in the portal, fill in the ASN with what is on the truck, how it is packed, and lot and expiry numbers if they apply, then print a dock pass for your driver.
We ask for 48 hours notice so receiving is actually staffed that morning. Inside that window the portal lets you file a short-notice request instead, and we answer yes or no. A truck should never find out at the gate.
Receiving is clocked from the first pallet to the last put-away in 15-minute increments, so what you are billed for matches what the crew did.
Decoration minimums and rates, published
If your program includes decoration, these are our real rates, decoration only, one location. The garment is priced separately.
- Screen printing starts at 25 pieces. Flat $50 screen setup for the run, then $7.00 a piece from 25 to 49, $5.00 from 50 to 149, and $2.50 at 150 or more.
- Embroidery starts at 3 pieces, with a one-time $20 digitizing charge to turn your logo into a stitch file. We keep the file, so reorders never pay it again.
- DTF printing starts at 1 piece with no setup fee, $5 a location at any print size. This is the one that makes decorate-on-demand possible.
- Laser engraving starts at 1 piece, $12 to $35 by size, plus a per-order fee of $8 to $50 set by quantity.
The full card and a live estimator sit on the pricing guide. Which method suits which product is on decoration methods, and production timelines are on the turnaround guide.
Fulfillment itself is quoted per program.
When we are not the right fit
Better to say this now than in week three. A large national 3PL is the better call if:
- You need transit time from several regions at once. We ship out of one building, not a network of regional centers.
- You are shipping hundreds of thousands of orders a month. That is past what one building and one crew do well.
- The lowest possible pick fee is the only thing you are buying. Someone will beat our number.
- You need us to move the freight. We are not a freight broker. Getting product to our dock is on you or your supplier, and we will help plan the appointment.
What we are good at is brands that want the handling to be right and want to talk to someone who knows the account.
Common questions
Can one company print my merch and also fulfill my orders?
Yes, and that is the point of this one. We decorate in-house with screen printing, embroidery, DTF and laser engraving, and we warehouse and ship out of the same operation. Brands often hire a decorator and a 3PL separately and then keep the two in sync themselves.
Do I have to buy inventory up front?
No. You can hold blanks with us and have them decorated only when an order comes in, so nothing sits unsold. DTF printing starts at 1 piece with no setup fee, which is what makes that model work. Bulk runs are still cheaper per unit once you know what sells.
What is the minimum order to get merch decorated for a fulfillment program?
It depends on the method, not on the size of your program. DTF printing and laser engraving start at 1 piece, embroidery at 3, and screen printing at 25. Screen printing carries a one-time $50 screen setup per design and embroidery a one-time $20 digitizing charge, and reorders of the same design pay neither again.
How do I get my product to your warehouse?
You book a dock appointment in our delivery portal and send the ASN ahead of the truck, then print a dock pass for your driver. We ask for 48 hours notice so receiving is staffed. Inside that window you can file a short-notice request and we will answer before the truck rolls.
What does 3PL fulfillment cost?
Fulfillment is quoted per program, because receiving labor, storage and pick rates depend on how your product is packed and how fast it moves. A real number needs your SKU count, monthly order volume, and how the freight arrives. Decoration rates are published in full on our pricing guide.
How fast do orders ship?
If we are already holding your stock, orders that reach us before 1:00 PM local ship the same business day. That is the payoff of finished goods sitting on our shelves rather than being made to order. We pick and pack Monday through Friday, so an order that lands over the weekend goes out Monday. Anything that has to be decorated first runs on the production clock instead. For programs that need it in writing, we will put a service level agreement in the contract.
Do you handle returns?
Per account, yes. If your product can go back on the shelf as sellable, we can receive the return, inspect it and put it back into your inventory. How that works is scoped with you when we set the account up, because what counts as sellable is different for a supplement than it is for a hoodie.
What sales platforms do you work with?
Shopify is the one we run day to day. Orders reach us through ShipStation, which connects to more than 200 selling channels, so if you sell somewhere else the connection almost certainly already exists. Ask us about your specific channel and we will confirm it before you sign anything.
Can I see my own inventory and orders?
You get a login to our client portal. Today it covers the inbound side: booking dock appointments, sending ASNs, rescheduling, and a history of every change and who made it. A read-only view of your orders and shipments is built and not switched on yet.
Do you only fulfill apparel?
No. Apparel is what we decorate, but the warehouse ships boxed consumer goods too. If your product is shelf-stable and fits a bin, pick and pack works the same way.
Is Pure Choice Logistics the same company as Pure Choice Apparel?
Yes. Pure Choice Logistics LLC is the legal entity. Pure Choice Apparel is the name on the decorated-apparel side, and Pure Choice Logistics is the name on the warehousing and fulfillment side. Same building, same people, one contract.
Tell us what you ship
Receive, store, pick, pack, ship. Send us your SKU count, orders a month, and how your freight arrives, and that is enough for us to tell you whether this is a fit and what it would cost.
Or call 928-387-4348 and ask for fulfillment.
