The question we get most on tees is whether to screen print or run DTF, and the honest answer is that it comes down to quantity. Screen print starts at 24 pieces and carries a $50 screen setup per design for the first print location, plus $25 for each extra location, free at 288 pieces and up and skipped on reorders of the same design. The decoration itself drops with volume: $10.00 a piece at 24, $8.50 at 48, $7.00 at 72, $5.50 at 144, and $3.50 at 1,000. On a 200 shirt event order nothing else is close. DTF has no minimum and no setup at all. It is priced by print size, $8.00 a location for a standard print up to 11" x 11", less for a small chest logo and more for a large or oversize front, which makes it the right call for a dozen staff shirts or a reorder of six.
