Hooded sweatshirts take all three of our apparel methods, and the choice usually comes down to run size and where the art goes. Big spirit wear and fundraiser runs go screen print, which is a 24 piece minimum with a $50 screen setup for the first print location and lands at $8.50 a piece at 48. Small runs go DTF at $8.00 a print for a standard size, no minimum and no setup — you pick the print size on the mockup, so a left chest logo costs less and a full front costs more. A left chest logo on heavier fleece is worth embroidering, 3 piece minimum with the flat $40 digitizing you pay once.

One practical note before you send art. A full front print on a pullover has to clear the pouch pocket and the hood drawcord, so the usable area is shorter than it is on a tee. If your design is tall, a full zip like the District Perfect Weight gives you two clean panels to work with instead of one interrupted one.
