At a glance
| Method | Best for | Minimum | Colors | Setup fee |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Screen print | High volume, same design, bold colors | 25 pieces | Up to 6 per location | One-time |
| DTF | Low quantity, full-color, fine detail | No minimum | Unlimited | None |
| Embroidery | Polos, hats, premium staff wear | 3 pieces | Up to 9 thread colors | One-time digitizing |
| Engraving | Drinkware, tumblers, hard goods | No minimum | Etched | One-time |
Screen print — the workhorse for volume
Ink pushed through a stencil, one screen per color. Once the screens are made, every additional shirt is fast and cheap — so the per-piece price drops hard as quantity climbs. Best for event tees, fundraiser shirts, and any large run of the same design. Handles up to 6 colors per print location cleanly. Minimum 25 pieces.
DTF (direct-to-film) — full color, no minimum
A full-color transfer heat-pressed onto the garment. No minimum order and unlimited colors, so it's the right call for low quantities, photographic or gradient artwork, and detailed multi-color designs that screen print can't do economically. Priced per piece — no screens to set up.
Embroidery — premium, durable, professional
Your logo stitched into the fabric. The most premium, longest-lasting finish — ideal for polos, hats, jackets, and staff uniforms. Handles up to 9 thread colors in most designs. Minimum 3 pieces. A one-time digitizing fee converts your logo to a stitch file, reused free on reorders.
Engraving — for hard goods
Laser-etched into drinkware, tumblers, and other hard goods, including our Wyld Gear line. No minimum. A clean, permanent mark — no ink, no fading.
How to choose
- Event tees, fundraisers, 25+ of one design → Screen print (best price at volume).
- Under 25 pieces, or full-color / detailed art → DTF (no minimum, unlimited color).
- Polos, hats, premium uniforms → Embroidery (durable, professional).
- Drinkware, tumblers, gifts → Engraving.
