These two line items exist so an order can be invoiced correctly. You do not add them yourself. We add them when your order needs one.
A digitizing fee applies to embroidery. Your logo arrives as a picture file and an embroidery machine cannot read one. Someone has to convert it into a stitch file that tells the machine every needle path, stitch direction, thread color change, and underlay. That conversion is the digitizing. We charge a flat $50 for it, one time. The file then lives on our system, so every reorder of that logo skips the fee.
A setup fee applies to screen print and to engraving. On screen print it covers burning the physical screens for your artwork. It is $50 flat per order, spread across however many pieces you run, which is why setup costs $2.00 a shirt on a 25 piece job and $0.20 on a 250 piece job. On engraving it works differently. There is one engraving fee per order and it is sized by how many pieces you engrave, not by how complicated the art is: $8.00 for 1 to 11 pieces, $15.00 for 12 to 49, $30.00 for 50 to 149, and $50.00 at 150 or more.
DTF has neither. No setup, no minimum. Not sure which applies to your order? Call 928-387-4348 and we will tell you before you pay anything.
